The students have been working on designs to decorate our vegetable gardens. They have sketched their ideas onto Marine Ply and have started painting with acrylic paints. These panels will be fixed to the sides of our gardens when completed.

The students have been studying lion faces and have drawn their own with pencil. Oil pastels have been used to add colour. They are now in the process of adding a collaged mane to complete their piece.
The Grade 6 students have been analysing the work of Amedio Modigliani. They have studied his portraits and used elements of his work in their own.
The students have used paint on cartridge paper and scraped 'blobs' of colour across their paper with cardboard pieces. Please note that it is essential that all children have an Art smock that fits, especially when we use paint! This week, the students have cut dinosaur body parts out of their rubbings. Glue sticks have been used to collage their creatures on top of their painted background from last week.
