The students have done some preparatory sketches with grey leds of the lines that appear on our faces as we age. They have used paper magiclay to replicate their sketches, paying close attention to the wrinkles.

The students have been studying the work of Tim Burton. They have used plastic face forms and papier-mâché to construct the base for their own three dimensional interpretation of his work. These will be painted with acrylic paint.

The students have used scrap pieces of cover paper and string to create bowls, moulded over a plastic bowl armature. PVA diluted with water has been used as the adhesive in these pieces.
