The students have studied pictures of Aurora Borealis. They have used white crayon on black paper, as well as dry pastels to blend and create the colours in the sky.

The students have been studying the work of Henri Matisse. They have used similar shapes to those he used in his collages for these pieces. Cover paper was cut into appropriate shapes and collaged on top of a balloon and base, with some pieces overlapping for strength. Wallpaper paste was used as the adhesive.
The Templestowe Park Art Show is coming! The students have been working really hard in Art and a massive exhibition of their favourite pieces from the year will be on display in the main building corridor from October 24th. Refer to the newsletter, compass and team app for times etc!
The students in Grade 3 have worked really hard on their decorations for the vegetable garden. These have been installed on the sides of the garden beds and are looking fantastic. Check them out if you get the chance!
