The students have traced around round objects with greyleads, then used twistables to add colour and pattern to the different rings.
The students have chosen a couple of cat pictures, cut them out and drawn a scenario in which the cat appears.
The students have been given a selection of warm colours. They have mixed these with white paint to mix different variations of the colour, then painted a cityscape with these new colours. Today the students used cool colours to paint their sky, which contrasts with the buildings from last week... Today the students used black acrylic paint to outline their tonal paintings from the last couple of sessions.
The students have cut out the shapes of bugs from cover paper. They have added eyes and used strips of paper to weave through the bellies.
The students are using acrylic paints to create a background, as if they were in the middle of a tree... Today the students drew an owl onto black cover paper and decorated it with a combination of metallic oil pastels and crayons. They cut out the owl and used supertac to attach their owl to the painting from last week.
The students have used a limited acrylic colour palette to complete one painting that looks different on each side of the paper.
The students were reminded our our Bridget Riley learning at home component. They drew black lines across their page, then used Primary colours to add some lines and spots with acrylic paint.
The students have been introduced to ceramic pinch pots and appropriate joining techniques to create these awesome creatures!
